A journal entry after our first week in NYC!

Well one week down in NYC!!! How crazy is that. I’ve dreamed of living here. You see all the tv shows of the fabulous people, and you think my life would be fabulous too, if only I was there!

Well, life doesn’t work like that.

Yes, there is a lot to see and do here!! Broadway, all the history, museums, etc. But at the end of the day you come home to your house, just like anywhere else.

You come home to those feelings of loneliness and depression no matter where you are.

You realize that life it routine, no matter how fabulous the city facade made be.

Does that mean I am not going to make the most out of this opportunity?

Heck no!

I should be making the most out of every opportunity, out of every day!

I should be doing stuff that makes me happy, and advances my career, everyday!

And not waiting for the perfect time and place. Cause there will never be a perfect time or place.

I think the reason people say if you can make it there you'll make it anywhere, is because you are surrounded by BIG success. And BIG success is inspiring.

You see the top of what you could have, and it makes you want to work harder to achieve it!

So what will I achieve while I’m here. Only time will tell. Keep your eyes on my page! The best is yet to come.
